Wow. Busy busy summer days! Blog posts seem to get put on the back burner lately. I just finished the sample book that I demoed in my Italy workshop. It ended up about 4" thick and is 6" X 9".
I still have more photos from my time in Italy that I would like to share, but haven't gotten back to them yet. Hopefully things will slow down a bit now. Hope you're all enjoying a beautiful June!
Stunning blog. Love your photo's what talent! thanks for the inspiration.

This is so beautiful. When are you going to teach an online class? Can you hear me wishing here?

I have wandered around your site and just adore your work - your blending of textures, colors, adding painting and texture to fabric and lace - so beautiful, very peaceful and inspiring. What a blessed and talented lady you are!

Sabine, I use a regular Bernina sewing machine for free motion without any embroidery or quilting attachments. I like the uneven and imperfect look of making it up as I go without patterns.
Lisa, I'm still working on the goal of online book classes. I just haven't been able to get it going yet.
Kristi, I'm already dreaming about, and planning for next year! What a perfect time we all had. And I'm so glad you love your book!
Robin, thank you for sharing the link!
Rochelle, thank you for the info on Colorado. I loved teaching there, but I just can't travel like I used to. Other than the international trips and CA, I won't be teaching anywhere else for a while. I'm still hoping for online classes now that I have my health back though!
I really love the comments... thank you everyone!

DJ,
This is the most beautiful book I've ever seen! I wish I could touch it & examine every page. Someday I'd love to take a class from you. Any chance of an online class?

Your book is as gorgeous as the week we shared in Orvieto!!! I am so lucky to have a book from your hands. We can't wait to have you back with Adventures in Italy next fall to weave the magic all over again! Ciao, Kristi

Another beautiful book - I especially love the floral and leafy themed stitchings in this one. And yes please - more photos of Italy any time.
