I felt the images you made with the black
stitches reminded me of wire sculpture .
Your paintings of birds and the binding
were some of my favorite parts of this

oh DJ, it is just fabulous. I've actually been working on mine, someday it will get finished.lol please take lots of class photos...I know you tend to get wrapped up and forget (smile) I signed up for Nellies classes this summer to get me inspired to work with papers and fabrics!! Oh DJ, it is beyond beautiful... As a girl who carries a book everywhere she goes, I dream of carrying one like this. I try to imagine how a book like this would feel in my hands, the softness of the paper and fabric, the stitches, the fun spine with buttons, the painted cover... :) :) :)
