Thank you for this, DJ! Both you instructions and illustrative images are great.

P.S. Love the website header.

Thank you SO much for being so generous!

Thanks DJ. I took your online course and loved it -- I'd sign up for another one in a heartbeat. This tutorial was great fun and I have a nice result using one of my own pictures with less than 10 minutes of work.

After taking your class, I'm happy to see a mini tutorial! You are right, I need to "experiment" and just see what happens.

I am so excited. Your instructions are fantastic. I was able to follow with my limited experience and using PSE6 and a PC and duplicate your results. What great play time this lead into. When do plan on doing another online class?

Thanks for the great tutorial. I tried it in PSE5 and the results look great. I played with stuff I didn't even now was there - wonderful! Then I played further as you suggested with hue and saturation - I love it.

Always gorgeous work and a great tutorial!

I sure have enjoyed viewing your photos with your new camera. Wonderful eye candy. And, finally spring has sprung in the PNW for some beautiful photo ops!

Thanks for your email DJ. I had a play with PSE5 and to my surprise I had the High Pass Filter hidden away - I googled it! I have done the tutorial and it worked a treat!

Thank you so much. I am so chuffed!

Best wishes,

Joanne Thieme Huffman

very cool. Thanks for the tutorial.

Thanks for sharing this tutorial. You've laid it out so well that I might take some baby steps & try it!

Do you do postcard/photocard swaps? I'm celebrating 50 next month & would love you to join me. e mail me if you're interested but I'll totally understand if you don't do swaps ;) studio@heavens-ocean.co.uk

Wow, this is fabulous - thanks for the tutorial. I only have Photoshop Elements 5. Is there any way that this effect can be achieved with this programme as I don't have CS3?

Beautiful photos, as usual!

Thanks to Beth for asking and thank you DJ for giving us this tutorial. I had great results using PSE 7 on Windows. Love this stuff.....

Thank you for this tutorial! So many beautiful options! I cant wait to try it.

Fun, thank you for the lesson, I'm going to try this.

very nice; my PS does not have these advanced features. I am curious: how do you deal with storage of all these different steps, the high passes, the blending etc - do you keep it in it's own new file?

This is wonderful, thank you. When will you have another online CS class?
